I saw this shiny blue croco satchel (shaped like Florentine satchel) posted on a website highlighting Dooney fall previews. I fell in love immediately and have been waiting for this bag to hit the Dooney website or QVC. Most of the other bags that were previewed in the article have already been introduced. (Chelsea, Lexington, Shearling Saddle Bag, Clayton, etc.) This seems to be one of the last to hit the website and when I called Dooney, I was told that this bag would come out within next 2 months. Trying to decide if this bag is versatile enough for the high price tag. Guessing that this bag can be used in winter months since it is not even being introduced until fall...but is it a bag that I could use year round? Is it neutral enough to go with blacks and denim? Can be dressed up or down? I keep wavering between this and true neutral, such as the natural color. I love this bag, but for high price I want to be sure it is a relatively timeless classic.
