I chose both the African Violet and Pink Swirls in the TSV (one for me, one for my aunt). While I usually prefer a zippered top, I think with the depth of this bag my items will be down below and not be apt to fly out if I have to stop fast in Hazel (my car). One of my former favorite bags was the discontinued Laura, which had the snap top; I did not miss the zip on it!

I like it but I am passing because it doesn't have a zipper. I like my totes to close securely and not have to rely only on a magnetic closure.

I didn't order the TSV today but caved for the twosome they are calling ""get carried away"" and the matching ditty bag in ""Ribbons"". I know I've seen it before...but it finally got to me today. I've always liked this large tote and the fact that it can be zipped completely closed. I plan to use it on vacation later this summer.

I actually like not having a zipper on this TSV. I like the magnetic closure on this style. Since I plan on using this as a handbag. If I want a tote I like the Get Carried away tote for one. Its a nice size and has a zipper.

This was a TSV last fall (October/November--not sure exactly). I ordered it as a Christmas gift for my mom and then realized my sister had already given her a weekender. I stalled around and never returned it, so I've been using it myself. I love the fact that it zips!

Hi Chelley. I was pretty sure I remembered it as a TSV some time ago. I have seen it presented many, many times but today seemed to be the right day for me. Do you like it? I know it's pretty big, hoping that I don't think it's TOO big!

I really don't need another VB but....it's hard not to. My favorite patterns seem to be Olivia Pink & Cocoa Moss. But I like others also. What is your favorite?

Hi, Pepper. For some reason I always seem to be drawn to prints that seem a little "tropical" to me. Two of my recent favorites are Jazzy Blooms and Blue Bayou.

YESSSSS, it's "light weight" alright - because the POCKETS ARE MISSING on the interior of this bag. Obviously, to keep the price point for a TSV DOWN, the organization was sacrificed. Also, with no pockets to secure the content, a light-weight snap closure really doesn't work for me. It becomes just a flimsy cotton sack that will tip over (with it's narrow base) and SPILL. Not even a firm bottom ??? Who are they kidding? Not me!

So sad to see another great company let their customers DOWN. Vera Bradley is so popular there's just no excuse.

I agree.

I thought the African violet was pretty, but it did look like a "cheapened-down" version of VB. No wonder it was free shipping ladies. It looked like a $30 bag. JMO, but I was disappointed in the shape and style.

I don't think it's too large. I have a miller bag from several years ago. I think the tote you got is a little smaller, but I like using it. Actually, I like this one better than my miller tote. I like the zipper and all the pockets inside. I went to the beach last week, and I carried the tote. It's just right for those trips.
