As I have stated previously (this is a recurring topic), could someone please tell me how a thin, porous little piece of nylon stocking stretched over my foot is any more hygienic than a bare foot?

Probarly nothing more hygienic then a bare foot. But, I think of sweat, oils from the foot have me thinking of wearing a sock or a knee high to try on my  shoes from a store..Just for the gross factor if nothing else.

I don't know if this bothers any one else, but this is a total turn off when Jane puts her bare feet into all of the shoes to try on.  Even in shoe stores  they provide little hoisery socks to put on before you try on the shoes.  You know they will put those back to sell.   I wish people would have not only common sense, but  think what you are doing beore millions of people who are watching the hyginiety(sp) that is not there.  Thanks for letting me vent how I feel.

I guess all of you haven't shopped for shoes in the mall in awhile.  It's hard to find the little ped nylons or whatever they are called and the employee rarely ever brings you some.  This includes Nordstrom.

We try on clothing that has been touched by other women's body parts. Plus, if the shoes happen to be flip flops, not too many ladies are going to try those on with a sock. I assumed that all shoes worn by Jane or the models went into the 'as is' department. If not, it doesn't bother me too much. Jane appears to have well-pedicured feet, as do the models. They're all probably meticulous with their hygiene.
