How Do Straps Work On TSV Backpack for Crossbody??

I see that some of you have gotten yours and I was wondering how the back straps connect for crossbody, they are not long enough to use just one, I don't think. Do you connect the two with the lobster claw? How does it sit on your shoulder as a crossbody TIA!!

I don't have the bag but i read on another thread that you have to connect the straps together.

Re: How Do Straps Work On TSV Backpack for Crossbody??

Hey Waterbaby! I just tried mine out and the lobster claws will be at the shoulder and I think they will not be comfortable after a while. I'm still on the fence about this bag, as it is on the small size for me and I think that tassel could cause some damage! At this point I would not wear it as a backpack and not sure as a crossbody, but it works nicely with the handle over the shoulder and over the arm. I will bring on Monday for you to see, BTW I love the terracotta color as it is a true nude/neutral.

I have this backpack in the original size, and while it can be worn cross body, it's terribly uncomfortable and clumsy for any length of time. It's long, deep bag, and the flap makes it clumsy to get in to. It's also very heavy.

It works quite well as a backpack, and is comfortable that way. And it's gorgeous. But it's not a bag I reach for.

I'll be curious to hear how the ladies with the new, smaller version like carrying it.

Yep, exactly the reasons why I returned mine..... the smaller version is really pretty but again, not sure if this bag will get much use so still trying to decide....

Re: How Do Straps Work On TSV Backpack for Crossbody??

I received mine today. I ordered the pebble. I was hoping it would be closer to the blush shade, but, it has a lilac undertone. Anyway, it will be fine for late Spring and Summer. I am too old to do a backpack, but, the crossbody will be perfect. I adjusted the straps for my height (short) and connected the lobster claws to the rings instead of each other. It's a bit more difficult to do, but, it works nicely on the shoulder, and, they don't flip around. The leather is very soft and the bag is not too heavy.
