Has Anyone Advice for Chicago Dooney Shopping?

Hi Ladies.

It's a definite that I'm headed to Chicago the end of the month for some work related continuing education. I'll be staying at a hotel on Magnificent Mile where I understand that is tons of shopping. I'd love to grab a cab and visit the D&B Outlet in Aurora but think the cost may negate any savings I'd find. I'm tempted, however, since I have almost a full day to play before the class starts...{#emotions_dlg.devil2}

I've never been to Chicago,so any suggestions for shopping or sights to see would be appreciated for when we're sprung from class.

Since the Ellenton, FL outlet credit card bill just rolled in, I know that restraint should be the name of the game but what else is a gal to do when out-of-town with extra time on her hands but....... SHOP!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
