ITA...we don't make the laws. Having your domesticated pet run wild, without protection, speaks volumes. If you don't break them, there won't be consequences. Can't be simpler.

Consequences for whom, or in this case for what? And yes, we do have a role in making laws based on how we vote... It must be just wonderful for everything to be so very black and white, or to be so emotionless, citing 'the law is on my side' as justification. It's a shame real life often isn't so cut and dried and isn't always that simple... especially for people with compassion for the animal.

Judgmental much?... As for the rest, well, you'd be wrong. This 'dummy' has one inside cat... despite the fact the jurisdiction in which I live isn't ditzy enough to try to impose a leash law on cats... I'd love for my cat to experience the wonders of nature, but he's safer inside, both from some of those same wonders and clearly, from the would be trappers like you... And yes, I dare place blame where it seems to fit. Any reasonably caring and intelligent individual really ought to be able to strategize a solution other than potentially trapping an animal you find an annoyance... Perhaps whenever your dogs do bark and you aren't quick enough getting them inside one of your neighbors should call the local animal warden to report you... Or better yet, maybe the dogs should just stay inside all the time... Talk about blowing hot air... As for your strong resentment, well, thems the breaks...

I have two Cats that always have been and always will be, indoor only. They are indeed safer from many dangers, not the least of which is the Human animal, who, supposedly, has the ability to make reasoned and compassionate choices that would place the well being of an animal, above their Marigolds; obviously, not always the case.

The successful implementaion of a leash law for Cat's, probably is right up there with the sucessful implementaion of a law requiring dog's to use a litter box{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

As for being a law breaker, I laugh out loud at the picture of it, for reasons that would bore you, I'm sure.

However, do you remember this country came into existence, because of the law breakers that were our founding father's. AND, I doubt if any of them had their Cat on a leash{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Yes we know you don't feel guilty for putting cats lives at risk by purposely trapping them and taking them to places that do kill animals just because they happened to be outside. My cats are indoor only but your actions disgust me and are not the actions of someone who loves animals.
