Re: HSN Naturalizer ankle boot TS anyone buying it?

Pecky, I almost ordered the tall boot in the olive, but I decided to get that one in the banana bread color as well, so now I will have the tall boot in 4 colors.  Hope you love your boots!

Re: HSN Naturalizer ankle boot TS anyone buying it?

I was torn between the Banana Bread and the Burgundy and went with Burgundy. Recently I was out at the mall looking at ankle boots and found that many were made from man made materials. It was disappointing to see that. Then I heard the Naturalizer rep say that many companies are doing that. So when I saw this presentation, I thought that this was a great price for leather boots. They look very stylish. Another thing that I liked was the heel height. I am almost 66 and can't do high heels anymore.

[ Edited ]

I ordered the banana bread, but I just canceled my order.  I went to Naturalizer's web site and saw some nice ankle boots on sale.  Ditto for 6pm.  I'm going to wait until I find something nice at a great price or until I see something that's not too expensive but that I have to have.  Those are really nice ankle boots, which is the only type of boot I wear because I can't walk in high boots.  I feel like I have casts on my legs.

I got a couple of pairs of Sportos at 75+% off in May and have three other pairs of ankle boots, so I'm going to wait a couple of months.  One pair is a black leather Clarks that should be replaced this year, so I should be on the lookout for black leather.

The banana bread is a really nice color, but I'm not sure I would use it, as I don't wear brown shoes.  I'm very stuck in a black shoe/handbag rut and I can't climb out.  HELP!

P.S., Tricolor:  You are wise not to buy fake leather footwear.  It is not durable.  A few years ago, I got a pair of loafers on-line that were sold as leather.  When they ripped a few days later, I suspected they weren't leather and checked.  Yup.  Pleather!  I would buy it if it was durable, as I couldn't tell the difference with those shoes, but it's not a good buy when it rips.  I had another pleather shoe many years ago that ripped too.

I bought banana bread -  really nice toe shape and perfect heel for pants at work-  I got 2 pair naturalized from them last year and very comfy, competes with Clarks now IMO.

I haven't liked any shoes on the Q- many are the solid base of plastic, ugly with dress pants.

Thanks for those points, Knitgirly.  I went back and ordered the black.  I think the heel and sole are rubber like Clarks, but they don't look like it.  I need a black leather boot and might as well get this one, as it's nice and not much more than some I've seen on sale.  I have wide feet and so can't always find a shoe in my size.  Sportos, which are great snow boots, only come in wide at HSN.  Those banana bread shoes are a beautiful color, but I just can't break the black bag/shoe habit.

Re: HSN Naturalizer ankle boot TS anyone buying it?

After seeing all of the love for the Navy boot and checking my current shoes to confirm I don't have Navy, I went on waitlist for them!!!! I should get my black pair and determine if I like them before navy ships in case I would want to cancel that order. It cracked my up watching the show with Amy calling the one color Banana Nut Bread. She kept saying it even though people in her ear kept telling her there was no nut! A 4 hour shift was just too much for her LOL. Give the poor lady a slice of banana nut bread! She's hungry!

Not all faux leather footwear or faux leather in general, is created equally.  Several of my shooties and boots that I own are in faux leather.  I actually prefer that because in the winter, I can wash the salt and dirt right off of them without any issue.  OTOH the salt tore up my real leather Clark's shooties. They had to be tossed after 1 winter of wearing them.

I ended up buying a pair of brown shooties from the Naturalizer site.  With the sale and the coupon, I got them for $23.00 cheaper than HSN was offering them.

I considered buying the TS in navy but instead bought Franco Sarto Skylar.  I found them $30 cheaper than QVC's price with free shipping.

Re: HSN Naturalizer ankle boot TS anyone buying it?

I'm waiting for my Banana Bread to arrive!  Ironically, I didn't see this boot until the evening......after I had stopped at Designer Shoe Warehouse looking at their boots.  Was very disappointed.  When I saw the Naturalizers, I bought a pair as it was what i was looking for.  Needed something with a lower heel.

Still have my eye on the Clarks boot that will be a TSV this Thursday.
