A friend was wearing some very attractive shiny black rainboots recently.  She paid more than I was willing to do, so I went hunting. 

Her boots had a great shape and pointed toe  which I prefer.  I really, really, really dislike rounded or bubble toes!

I found some Chelsea style boots on Amazon for under $30.  Very nice - good fit (I wear trouser socks or tights), comfortable to wear and don't leak.

Really cute rainboot!  I was just out and saw some Tretorn rainboots in a powder blue color.  (sorry they had round toes!) 

I almost grabbed them but I have 3 pair now and I'm committed to purging!

I would love to get a pair of hunter boots but boy, are they expensive for rain boots.
