Today I received my first "as is" order of the leather hobo w/accessories in black/tan. The wristlet strap is there but the wristlet itself was missing. the bag looks fine and the registration card and keyfob are inside. The bag itself has a bit of a strange smell to it. It isn't a leather smell. I once sent back a BMak bag because of the same type of smell but it was much stronger. Have any of you ever experienced this. Maybe it is just the dye or something. I think that I should probably keep it because it was a good buy in comparison to regular price, even w/out the wristlet. (although I was disappointed) I hope that smell goes away with exposure to the air. If not I will have to return. Also, I ordered the florentine medium toggle bag. I will wait and see what that one looks like. Question: Are we able to register the "as is" bags with Dooney or not since they are technically not new? Hope everyone will be happy with their weekend purchases when they arrive.
