I just received this bag in the green last week and it is stunning! A nice rich green which really compliments the dark brown trim.

Deb: just out of curiosity I was playing with my pebbled leather zip zip to see if I could get the strap attached and the handles to stay down. One side worked well, the other side the handles didn't sit flat, but it didn't stick out or up. The difference was that on one side the clip for the strap fit on the top horizontal part of the square 'ring' and on the other side the leather from the handle was a bit wider and took up all the available room so the clip from the strap had to sit on the vertical part of the the 'ring'. That was the side where the handle wasn't as flat against the handbag.

cgil: enjoy your new handbag.

Green has long been a particular favorite of mine... Though I returned the GILI satchel in olive, I just found a beautiful Lauren satchel tote in olive Saffiano leather. I'd been seeking both something in olive and a beautiful Saffiano bag, so this took care of both 'needs'! At first I was thinking of returning it because the straps are a bit thin and longer than I like, making it more a shoulder bag than a satchel, and the bag is actually larger than I wanted, but the more I look at it, the better I like it... This is one of those bags I'd seen at the Maxx the past three times I'd visited, looked at it each time and then put it back. I finally decided that if this bag had remained over all those visits, it was meant to be...

In my pantry with my cupcakes...
