I would never spend the money for a bag on Q b/c I see them so often in Marshalls for so much less. And, honestly, few BMak bags are my style anyway. I like a structured bag, nothing "soft and pouchy." But there was a bag at Marshalls that caught my eye and haunted me for a week or so that just happened to be BMak. I purchased it today. It's this one, but in stone:

It was less in Marshalls than this auction but it is more than I've ever paid for any garment or accessory in my life. I did get a Tig recently, also at Marshalls, and though I love the organization of it, I was disappointed that the metallic finish chipped so much. This bag is 3X as much. But, it "speaks" to me, it seems like a "me" bag. Also, it's my b'day.
But I have concerns....will it spot? Can I protect it somehow? With this matte finish, won't it easily pick up dirt? Will it last several years?
Darn, it's heavy too, but so is the Tig. I don't mind it much until I've been carrying it steadily for several hours. Before the Tig, I never had a bag more than $30, though the few leather bags I had were the ones I wore the longest. The cheap vinyl bags don't seem to last at all.
Anyway, just lookign for some advice and opinions. TIA
