It seems a rather generic handbag 'brand' that QVC might have decided to offer as more of a 'middle of the road' option for those thinking the brands most often presented are too costly...

Affordable, clean, classic lines....It's all good, indeed! Smiley Happy

It's no secret that I'm a self-admitted handbag addict and I love all styles, colors and fabrications lol!! With that being said, I've seen these silhouettes and fabrications at TJMaxx and other retailers from many different designers, done better in my opinion. I've also been gravitating toward clean and classic lately and although Emma and Sophia's bags fit this category, I personally, find something about them bland and a little pricey for a "mystery brand" lol! Case in point, I just bought a Rebecca Minkoff medium MAB tote on sale for just a little more than the Emma and Sophia's offered at the Q. Now talk about a classic beauty...the MAB tote is that and more in my opinion of course lol!! I understand your annoyance Stylistwannabe, and you certainly are entitled to that...I kind of find it annoying myself lol!!

I agree Fun... there are better deals to be had on middle of the road bags. QVC simply doesn't choose to compete price wise, sale wise or shipping cost wise when it comes to handbags (well, much of anything, but as a handbag junkie, it's REALLY noticeable with handbags...). Better to go to the Maxx and look around, because a rather generic bag like these can be had there for probably a third to a half the price less...

I find that statement to be a bit disingenuous, as good leather is a very durable material - much more so than most synthetics (cracked GILI bag handles, anyone?)

I'm thinking Tig, another decent brand that decided to cheapen the formula and now we see threads all the time about their partially man-made material 'trim' cracking and peeling... Man made or mixed media bags are fine. I have some and love them, but I'm not paying these prices for them...

OMG! I couldn't agree with you more, Chalcedony! I've heard them say that also, and it makes no sense to me at all! LOL

I'm so excited for you funwun, the MAB is a beautiful bag!! I actually just came home from TJ Maxx, just love to look at styles , compare prices etc. For instance the Oryany haircalf that was a TSV at one point is still quite expensive on QVC, close to 300.00 (last time I looked) and is 99.00 in TJ Maxx! I'm not interested in that bag, but I find it empowering to just be aware lol I Love TJ Maxx & Marshall's, a great find just makes my day lol Happy Spring & enjoy your new bag Smiley Happy

Emma and Sophia is a handbag line being offered by QVC. The original post pretty much explains it, hope that helps Smiley Happy

No, I'm a nice person and not mean spirited.
