I'm not sure on the sizing of Earth Origin shoes. I have high arches and a high volume foot in general. My feet aren't actually wide but right on the border. I wear a 42/43 regular width ( not narrow) in Birkenstock. I've been buying an 11w in Vionic but I haven't tried their regular width shoes. I wear a 9 UK/ 11 US in Doc Martens womens shoes but some styles are snug across the arch as I need more height.
Should I get the regular or wide footbed earth origin boots?

Stick with the medium. I have a border line width too. I have purchased this brand in wide and had to return it. They are very wide. My dissapointment is with the color. We all want a cool grey boot. It's more a sick brown with the wanted grey in the back. Most of their boots are like that.

I'm an off the shelf 9M with average arches. I own two pairs of EO ankle boots in leather and find them a perfect fit and comfortable. However recently I ordered EO's triple buckle boots and had to return them because they ran narrow but those were EO's more upper end (supposedly) boot and cost over $150. Based on what I see with these long shaft boots, they look like my other EO ankle boots with the thicker lug soles, etc. and think they will run (fit-wise) like my other boots, at least I hope so....
And I'm not enamored of their colors either. I want a true red (burnished) and a true darker real gray!! JMHO

I wish the gray was actually gray also. Now I'm debating ordering them in both widths and keeping the ones that fit best. My biggest problem is height over the arch being too tight. I have high arches and I'm plus sized.

I agree about the grey. I bought the Earth Origins TSV short boots last year and the grey was more of a taupe.

I say why couldn't they make an actual gray ....and how about an olive boot?? The last season short boot is very comfy. These should be too.

I'm starting to think I'll pass on these. I really only considered them because they were cheap and I've wanted a pair of knee high boot for ages. But I don't think they are attractive. I just bought a pair of Doc Marten triumph 1914 in black with the victorian flowers lining for only 30 dollars when they had their last chance sale prices. They are more mid calf than knee height but they are much more my style than the earth origins.
I'll just hold out and buy a pair of Fluvog babycake boots instead.
