Dooneys and Macys

Hi Ladies

I am not a regular poster but have always appreciated the way everyone has been so nice when I come to ask questions.

My friend and I visited the mall today. Our closest and only mall is small and quite a distance from us. We visited Macys and had not been there since before XMAS.

There were only 4 Dooneys in the handbag dept.! When we asked why, the manager of the department said they would no longer be carrying the Dooney brand. She did not know if it was only this store, the smaller Macys stores, or all the stores.

Does anyone here know why some or all of the Macys would pull the Dooneys?
