Krissie, Alto leather is more refined and elegant than Florentine. It is smooth without any pebbling. Both Florentine and Alto are Vachetta leathers. If you buy an Alto you will be hooked. They are exquisite. Some of the outlets may have some Alto's now. Try the Dooney Las Vegas outlet, Reading, Pa. They both will ship, as some Dooney outlets won't. I bet you can find a good deal, with a good percentage off.

Allthatsgood and Stevie, you're not helping. Neither one of you is helping. I'm going to have to get a 2nd job, a "bag" job. I've been telling myself that after the GILI Hobo TSV I would be done for awhile. Also keep rounding up my least loved bags to sell them, but as soon as I pose them for pictures, I fall back in love with them. There needs to be a vaccine, a handbag vaccine. Or a 12 step group. Or both.
