Thanks Stevie, you know what it is, I really like that nude color paired with black! I'm not much of a hobo girl...I definitely prefer a satchel or tote or the combination of both lol!! I think I may wait for the presentations so not to have any regrets here lol!! Incidentally, have you seen the Croco Fino Satchel at TJMaxx recently? The stores in my area have them in the Tmoro and Red...oh, I'm really tempted to add one more of these to my collection lol...I don't think there's reduced shipping ...I just looked and shipping is $11.47Fun, if you got the email to shop early, go through that. When you do, the product page is showing $5 shipping. I don't want the bag, but I just checked my email and the link came up to the page that says FIVE (not six) EP and five bucks to ship. This one literally looks like a knock-off to me, but the page I'm seeing is showing five and five.
Now THAT is such a pretty bag. Love it in red... The Maxx in my area has been feast or famine lately. Lots of really good stuff, but, well, when it's gone it's gone... (sorry, I couldn't resist) and restocking isn't as quick as I'd like it to be. Lots of Kors around here and of Arcadia, Lauren, a few Dooney and so on... Haven't seen the croco fino locally and wish I'd happen upon one in red. I'd love one, but it would be for my mother for Christmas, who has now told me more than a few times she wants a red croco bag!
As for this one, I'll check out the presentation, and maybe I'm wrong, but this one seems to live down... to the notion that some folks put out there about the 'made for Q' Dooneys. Usually, I think they're essentially decent bags, just not standard issue Dooney, but this one, somehow, just looks a little too watered down. Again though, maybe I'm wrong and it'll be lovely when presented... Like you though, not usually much of a hobo fan.
It's funny, because the "made for Q" thing often crosses my mind when considering the TSVs ...and eventually leads me to pass on most of them lol! I think in seeing the presentation, it will clarify my " true desire" for this bag lol!! I'm also tempted, with the TSVs, to wait until they show up in "As Is"....the pricing is so much more attractive lol!! Oh my gosh, we have such a saturation of MK here too along with Arcadia (one of my Mom's favorites), Lauren and various Italian designers. Cole Haan and Dooney are also staples. I converted my Mother to Dooney recently (she, of course, is an avid handbag collector...definitely genetic lol) and I bought her one for Christmas last year.
