I'm done with Clarks too. I've been having much better luck with Aerosoles (for now).

I used to swear by Clarks. I first discovered them when I just started working, downtown at a Walker Scotts. Loved the clog I bought in Navy SO much I went back and purchased the red and the white! I wore those shoes for years, comfortable and lasted forever!

I've purchased my share from the Q and have found that in recent years (last 15) that the quality is not the same and sizes vary even in the same size.

Now I'm loving Alegria. But I bought my first pair from our local shoe store in black.... then went to the Q and bought another color..... pricing was only a few dollars less on the Q AND I had to pay shipping so it was a wash. But my store didn't carry the color I wanted.....

lizzief, I am having the same problem with Clark's. Sick of having to send them back, and paying for it. I am looking to the web sites that have free shipping to and from...

Sadly, I've given up too. They ARE making their wides smaller. Love their shoes but they are for people with narrow to B width feet. Had several pairs before but like another person on this thread said - about 2-3 years back they somehow changed and none of their wides fit me anymore.

I think a lot of companies who have items mass produced for the Q (like styles only sold at the Q), especially for a TSV, end up selling an inferior item.

I think they cut corners, and the quality suffers when they are producing something to sell at a super low price. Clarks included.
