I switched from Clark's to Earth brand, mainly for the quality and the support. There is never an arch in Clark's.

You can but Clarks at vip.zappos.com. They typically have free shipping and free return shipping. I but a lot of my shoes from them. I have not had trouble purchasing Clarks from Q or anywhere else. I know typically purchase the same size in Clarks, so I don't usually have issues. Zappos have styles that the Q doesn't, however, Zappos doesn't offer easy-pay. Sometimes that matters. Just fyi....

I wear 7 wide - and have purchased many Clarks clogs from the Q years ago - all fit perfect. Around 3 years ago, I noticed that the fit changed and now I will not purchase any of their shoes on-line. You can also go to clarksusa.com - free shipping both ways. I purchased 2 pairs of closed leather shoes from the clarks site 3 yrs ago - and had to send both pairs back. Way too large.

I too noticed the difference in Clarks the last two or three years. Last summer I ordered a pair of cute sandals to wear to a wedding. Well, the sizing was way off! But I'm always willing to give a second chance so ordered another pair, the TSV last week. Sizing way off again and they squeak with every step.

That's it! No more Clarks for me!

I like Clark's shoes but I'll buy them thru their website or go in and try them on. I have also experienced inconsistent sizing and am not going to buy 2 sizes to try on at QVC.

Trouble is, it's the same with everything. Every clothing line, shoe brand, even toiletries. It's been that way for decades, at least in my experience. I've been happy to find Clarks Bendables work for me, run true to size. I can never find shoes in stores (I wear 11W), so it's either the Q or Zappos, sometimes Footsmart. No way around he problems invloved with buying shoes online.

fan- I think you're right. As much as possible I shop locally where I can try things. In fact, I put a visit to the Clarks' outlet on my To Do list after that last TSV. I'm not even surprised because the owner of the shop I like best once told me over 50% of shoes ordered "long distance" are returned!

Clothes, probably 98% of mine are brick and mortar. Even if shipping both ways is free, if nothing fits, I still don't have something new to wear and I have to repackage and return. I'd just rather go shop and support my local economy.

I have ordered at least a dozen pairs of Clarks from the Q and have never had a return for fit. I have sensitive feet and Clarks are all I wear. I find them to be comfortable and long wearing. Sorry about your experience.

I could have written this post. I love all the Clarks shoes I have purchased from QVC and they all fit perfectly.
