Dillen question

Is the Dillen satchel with the removable shoulder strap a heavy bag? I own 2 of the satchels in the nylon, and I love them, but I have no Dooney in leather. I don't want a weighty bag, but I am drooling over the red leather Dillen satchel. Is it a nice color of red? Thanks for your advice!
