Dancing shoes at the Copacabana

[ Edited ]

" Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl
With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there
She would merengue and do the cha-cha
And while she tried to be a star "

Saw these shoes  while perusing  online the merchandise that was presented on air. Thought , I definitely would have  worn these shoes  late 1970's -1980's .  Platform heels   3 1/2 inch   very decorative .

@skatting44  You are right. those sandals have a very 70s vibe, but my eyes see something kind of sexy about Smashing. Emoji

I think they also have a 40's vibe.  Old Hollywood glamour.

Oh, yes you are correct. Betty Grable or Lana Turner .

I remember around later 1970's wearing  high waisted   wide leg pants  and  " swing "  jackets with shoulder pads. Oh yes, velvet, corduroy or leather platform shoes .
