D&B Zebra Smith Bag

That bag is GORGEOUS! The Florentine leather trim is so substantial and rich looking. As a handbag fanatic, I have held other Smith bags and to me they are like works of art and examples of the finest of handbag craftmanship. So why oh why would Dooney not coat the fabric on the zebra fabric version. There is no way that it is not going to get dirty. What a shame it will be when it has to be "retired" because the fabric starts looking shabby. I hope Dooney comes out with a coated cotton/leather trim version of the Smith bag. I have a few of Dooney's coated cotton bags and they always look fantastic.
