Yesterday I found a bright violet (think crayola "red-violet" not lavender) crossbody purse for $29! Of course it's not leather but it's cute, simple (not covered with fringe, zippers or studs), feels nice, and has all the pockets I like. I know many ladies will turn their noses up at any purse that's not leather, but I would never pay what a leather purse costs for one in a "fashion color" that won't be around more than a year or two. This way I can use it for a couple seasons and toss it when I'm done. I do have nice leather purses in basic colors but I find the cheapies a great way to add those "POPS OF COLOR" without feeling like I have to use it for years to justify the price.
