Outlet....Non-Outlet...tomato, tomahto. I love ALL Coach! We got an outlet store on Maui last year and it's awesome (locals get 25% off at the regular stores all the time, but all of our stores - including the Coach "department" at Macys are considered "Resort" stores and have higher prices so the 25% isn't that big of a deal).

My last trip I got a $558 bag for $156 (with all the discounts and coupons), and the wallet to match was $86! I don't know if it's made for the outlet and I don't care. It's beautiful leather, well constructed like all my Coach bags, and I love it!

I have been an avid Coach fan since well, there was Coach. I don't live near an outlet, but when I traveled, I would go to factory stores. What I found wasn't a difference in quality, but in style. I can also remember when they carried classics and that was the only way you could get them. The one that I traveled to in PA was always behind. You really had to dig for nice pieces, all the ebayers would grab the good stuff. This was prevalent that they had to limit high volume buying. There is some kind of "attitude" about MFF models, but recent changes in management mean that theyare moving towards have higher-priced merchandise. They are trying transform the boutique stores in very high-end boutiques with stellar price tags.

Am going to clarify my remark about "attitude." An SA had told me that she had seen some factory store models and they looked "surprisingly decent." Not my words, but hers. I think it is possible to find beautiful MFF pieces and ugly Full Price boutique pieces.

Both my daughter and I have bought bags from their outlet stores and their regular retail stores and we find there is no difference in quality. Both hold up very well. We've never had a Coach bag to fall apart and we do not ""baby"" our handbags.
