Blush handbags in fall and winter

I am in love with blush lately. Will they work in fall and winter as well? I know greys might work in winter, but pastels like blush?

I say yes, but I don't follow any seasonal color rules and think they're silly. There's no way I'm going to pack away my favorite anything just because someone else deems the color wrong for the season. I live in a place where it's warm and sunny 9 months out of the year and there's no way I'm going to wear browns and hide away my corals and aquas because it's snowing somewhere in the country.

I think a blush handbag, especially worn with grey and winter white clothing in fall/winter would look amazing.

Easiest way to ""change over"" a pastel type bag is to tie a small jaunty scarf around the handle in a more seasonal color/pattern (like Echo scarves). Animal prints are fun too.

Depends on where you live and also what your wear. Blush worn with soft neutral colors in heavier fabrics would look great, even in the coldest climate. Pair the blush with tans, corals, soft grey, off white, etc. and you will look like a fashion icon. Would even look great with black or navy or brown. Wear the blush with jeans and a plaid shirt.... well, the blush will look out of place. {#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Bottom line, make it look like you planned the outfit not like you just reached for the handbag you've been using all summer.

May be its Philadephia conservative style,but a blush handbag during our winters would look terribly out of place. Maybe into the fall is ok,but not dead of winter. Just my observation and opinion.

I just bought a really pretty (at least I think so) blush cross body bag from Talbots. I plan to use it year round. I also bought a blush cardigan from them. Planning on wearing it this winter.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Absolutely plan on wearing my Gili Blush Tote throughout the Fall/Winter! The size, shape and Blush shade of this Handbag all work great with heavier fabrics, knits and leathers - and with colours such as Chocolate Brown, Hunter Green, Dark Navy, Merlot/Burgundy - various shades of Gray - and - my favourite - Black!

I don't really care what anyone else thinks; I intend to carry my blush Roma 2 in the winter. I always have a big red winter bag in rotation, now I'll add my Roma 2. A bright bag in winter brightens up my coats, which tend to be black, gray, navy. I plan to buy a big, warm winter scarf in blush or dusty pink to coordinate with the bag.
