I  bought a pair of Birkenstocks when QVC was selling them.  Trying to think how long I have had them.  It's easily more than 10 years.  They still look good!  They are white and have a back strap.

I don't wear them here in the City (feet get too dirty walking around in sandals) - only if I'm visiting out on the Island.   We just sit around out there - occasionally walk on some grass.

My niece makes fun of them. Claims they are terribly unstylished and for left wingers!

@Reever,

I used to make negative comments about Birkenstock’s too, until I bought my first pair.   I was dealing with severe knee pain from osteoarthritis, and then started having issues with my feet and legs that were not eased by my Clark’s shoes.

That pair of Birkenstock’s got me thru a very difficult and painful time in my life.   They were the shoes I slipped my feet into at the hospital after my first knee replacement, to take my first stroll, and I wore them until they came apart.   Sadly, that style is no longer made, or I would have a bunch.

I am a very proud "left winger", but I don't care for Birkenstocks.  They don't fit me well and are uncomfortable. Do I need to become a Young Republican?  🙄

@RedTop :

Are they sandals or clogs?

Birkenstock, Papillio, Birki's, Tatami, Alpro, or Betula?

What was the name of the style?

What Euro size did you wear in them?

I may be able to help.
