Have any of you ladies purchased Bernardo boots?  I had never heard of them,

but when I searched for rain boots, they came up on several sites.

I found them for a little less on amazon, so I took the plunge on the

Lacey Rain Boots in the forest green.  The reviews were good, but they

were a little pricey.  I guess if they don't work, it's back they go. If any of

you have experience with this brand, I would appreciate your view

I have several pairs of Bernardo sandals, some are close to 20 years old.   Bernardo was always excellent quality.  It's been at least 5 years since I've bought this brand as I do not see it often.

I have been looking for a good pair of short (ankle) rain boots that were reasonably priced. I have never heard of these but I did go ahead and purchase the sloggers because they had 5 star reviews about comfort.

These are on sale at NM Last Call for $43+.  I bought them today in red.

@muttmom

I really want to thank you for this information.  I absolutely love my boots, but I paid $ 145 for the forest green.  I really wanted to buy a pair for my daughter-in-law, but thought I'd better wait until her birthday, and she can wear them next Fall-Winter.  But with your message, I jumped online and found the red in her size

(only)!  They are now on the way to the Emerald City (Seattle ) in time for Valentine's Day!

I love my daughter-in-law, but I would not have been able to do this without your

message of information.  Thank you.

I would love to hear how you like your boots.  The NM site had a lot of info about Bernardo, which I appreciate.  Made in Brazil.
