B. Makowsky Handbag Color Transfer?

I had to return a beautiful Aruba Blue B. Makowsky crossbody handbag because the color was coming off on my fingertips after handling it! I know the tag clearly states that "some color transfer may occur", but come on! I had that stuff on my hands after several washings!! I was very disappointed because I really loved that handbag. Has anyone else had this issue with B. Makowsky handbags in dark colors?
