Stevie, I have no kids, so I get to spend all my disposable income on me, me, and me!!! )) And once I get these pieces, I will be done shopping for awhile. I am also getting a 5% raise in October and a bonus for passing CPA exam The other necklace was the 24" adjustable rope necklace so it's a great value! 14K gold. I don't do silver. And yes, I know about the stones... I have a blue topaz ring....but I really LOVE sky blue color in general....and yep $740 with tax...... I'm still debating whether it's worth the price.....but HELLO, I got the GILI bag for $480 and it was just a bag......THIS is a piece of jewelry made in Italy......and again, my 35th birthday!!! NOW, I wanna know how you can afford all those handbags that you buy in bulk monthly??

I spend $0 on makeup, $0 on dining out, $0 on car payments, $80/month on gas, so it helps just need to reduce my parking expense from $120/month to zero or max. $60/month.

Single, no kids either... As for the bracelet, it's really pretty, much prettier than the bangle that was even more... It looks to have a fair amount of gold too, though I wish they'd list gram weight... And I love turquoise set it gold...

I toyed with several of the bracelets, but I'm trying, for me, to be good right now and pay off some bills. I've actually been reasonably good, again for me, with the bags lately and actually, I'd normally have caved on more than one piece of jewelry but maintained my equilibrium this time around. I really wanted a couple of those bracelets and rings but something else will come along, or so I tell myself... And really, I already have enough jewelry and handbags to sink a battleship. In fact, if I'd skipped even a percentage of them (since I can't possibly use them all) I could probably retire very, very early... But hey, that ship has sailed... Actually, I love gold but I also like silver, even though I have little desire to add more to my collection. Gold, on the other hand, is something I'll always want to add more of!

And I hope you know I'm only kidding you... We all have to decide for ourselves what the traffic will bear!

Well, I have no ship to sink yet, LOL No worries....I know you are giving me a hard time but I'm ok with sharing my budget info....would love to hear how others do it, too but I wasn't able to afford a lot for a long time, so now I finally can and trying not to go overboard ) but as an accountant I have everything under control.... never paying interest on my c.cards. NOW, THAT would be a total waste for me! Oh, and I have NO cable tv. Imagine that - I tried to save $50 on one bill ...hahaha. Too bad I can't insert emoticons on my tablet.....

Oh, and on the shopping front, I still toy with the idea of ordering that split shank turquoise and gold ring...

Love it! Good thing they now want over five hundred bills for it and no EP! That'll keep me at bay!

Oh, they're presenting the last Gili (hobo) bag on PM Style... Still no off-white though, and that was the only one I really liked... Oh well, not buying it anyway... Incidentally, Bette is going back later this week... Just can't get past the total lack of shape...

I'm also watching the Chelsea presentation. Pretty, but I'm also going to pass. Maybe at a clearance or as is price... maybe.

Forget the bag, and get the ring! Lol. No easy pay is a deal breaker at this price.... and hahaha, I'm better than you because I just started.... can you imagine that just 3 years ago my salary was $30K a year and now I am a proud SINGLE home owner in California and I can finally treat myself to nice stuff. Gotta enjoy life while it lasts!!!!
