Could be worse. I was afraid I'd see saddle shoes pictured.

I wore clogs all through high school (and college too, if I remember correctly.) The big brand at the time was Mia, and I believe they were made in Sweden or Switzerland.

I've always loved clogs, especially with bootcut or wide leg jeans.
The only ones I don't care for are Stella's and I agree they look like Crocs.
I've been browsing for a pair for Fall. I especially like Tory's.

Not for me. Never cared for the look and found them very uncomfortable.

Danskos are the best. They were the only thing I could wear for nine hours a day when I was a teller in a bank. I still have a couple of pairs.

Not for me either I have a narrow foot and never found them comfortable. I tried in the 70's![]()

I've never given up my clogs and mules but I won't wear any clogs or shoes with wood bottoms or bottoms that don't flex.
I replaced the insole in a pair of Clarks clogs with flat insoles that have a sticky bottom as they came out of a pair of Saucony athletic shoes. I also replaced the insoles in a pair of Naturalizer mules with the insoles I took from a pair of Skecher athletic shoes.
I have a pair of Ugg clogs that are nearly 10 years old that are still in good shape and I have several pairs of Bzees clogs as well.
I have foot problems (achilles teninopathy) in my left ankle foot area so I prefer sometimes not to wear shoes with any backs on them like clogs or mules.

I can't deal with the stiff wooden sole. I had a pair way back when this style first became hot. I about broke my ankle several times. I put them in the trash, not wishing to pass this problem on to someone else in a donation.

I couldn't walk in them when I was a teenager. I definitely couldn't walk in them now.

I too had several pairs when I was a teenager and into my twenties, I loved them. I also had Candies (who remembers them), I was young and wore them to the beach to look cool and I twisted my ankle walking in them. Well, of course I stayed at the beach and my ankle swelled up from the heat and I needed help to walk to the car. Now, I will not walk in clogs or candies..
