Why wouldn't they be? Classic lines, top quality leather, hand made... beautiful items. And, you don't see them everywhere.

Very beautiful classic bag, which will probably never be owned by me. Too much $$$$.

Honestly, it looks bigger than I want to carry these days anyway. I used to want to carry everything I own with me but now it's just too much fuss.

I have to drag a rolling computer bag around every day for work and a large bag besides is too much.

But I still love beautiful bags and like seeing them when others have them.

I see them often here in NYC and they truly are beautiful and classic...however, with all their media popularity, I personally have lost interest in them(( ..Funny story though...a few years ago, a lady was selling replicas (not stamped...I think that's how she got away with it) out of her West Village boutique...I bought one in a light blue, ostrich leather and I can not tell you how much attention this bag garnered lol!! DBF even found it amusing and started counting how many women would stare at it lol...I was complimented everyday lol!!! Honestly, it's a nice replica but I got tired of carrying it ...just like any other bag..go figure lol!!!

Oh, now that is an obscene amount of money to waste on a handbag. I taught in an inner-city school district and I can think of so many other ways $15,000 can be spent on. The Beautiful People who buy them.......those purses are just one of many. Don't even get me started on shoes and watches. Seriously, one Rolex isn't good enough.

I obviously love that bag as I chose my ""name "" from the Birkin bag! I saw it and it was love at first sight. I don't ow one but if I ever win a big lottery that will be my first purchase!
