Why do some of these shoes say a EU 37 is a U.S. size 7- 7.5 and others say a EU 38 is a 7 - 7.5? It's confusing.  I ordered a pair that are on sale. I certainly hope they fit me.

They may vary by style.  I always go down a size in their sandals.  I find their size chart inaccurate.  I have many pairs and wear a size 11.  I know in a closed toe shoe, I can wear no less than a 42.

@Sapphiregal  I have a few European shoes and most of them are a size 37 but in Alegria I am a size 36.  I am a true 6 1/2 M.  Just follow their particular size chart as it is a perfect fit for me.   I'm assuming the difference has something to do with the styles of their shoes/sandals.

Wow, I had never noticed this.  I am a 8.5, often wide and mine are 39, just my Birkenstocks.  I have tried on their wide and must say it is too wide.  Hope it works out.

Well, I am a true size 7, so I guess that would mean I should wear a 37. The shoe I ordered, though, listed 7- 7.5 as a 38, so that is what I ordered. Hope I don't have to return them!
