Does anyone have D&B A224976 mini crossbody in ocean blue? Or seen in person? I'm looking for a gift for highschool grad. Does the color look the same in person? Thanx for the help.

Cute handbag, but if you check the reviews a lot of people say the zipper opening is too small. I think the size is great for a younger gal.

As for the color... Q shows a navy in the main picture and no swatch for ocean blue. On TV the ocean blue looks much lighter, almost like a soft royal blue shade. Colors on the Dooney web site are often lighter than the item appears in person. In general Dooney color names are very confusing, and often the same name is a different color in different collections. You might check ILOVEDOONEY to see if they have a Florentine in that color... to check the color and the price. Also, several of the Dooney outlets ship.... call Reading PA or Las Vegas outlets, they can give you a price (often better than the Dooney site) and you can also discuss the color with them.

I have this little bag in the hot pink from last year. It does have a small opening but I use it in the spring every weekend going to the famers market. I throw in my phone, cash, lip balm and a few other items and it is perfect. It is not my primary bag but it she has a back pack to hold schoool stuff, this is the perfect size as a purse.

I have a different florentine in the ocean blue and it is a beautiful color blue. It really is a great neutral, not to dark and not to light. Hope that helps.

Thank You for the info lavenderjunkie and SFGIANTSGIRL. I did look at the ILOVEDOONEY site. Thank You, never heard of it before. I looked around at the ocean blue color on the D&B bags and it does look neutral. Looks like it would go well with jeans. Thanks for the help.
