$248 For Nylon Trimmed In Leather?

The quality of Dooney & Bourke is undeniable, the beauty unparalleled, but the audacity of charging $248 for a leather-trimmed NYLON tote (A224959) is unbelievable! Really? Basically you're paying for a handful of leather strips and - of course - the D&B nameplate. To each, her own - whatevah!

I have a similar tote that was a free gift with purchase when I bought $25 worth of cosmetics. It's just as nice, equally functional and saved me a boatload of cash.

If I'm going to pay nearly $250 for a status bag, it had better be 100% genuine leather, not a glorified beach bag with a designer logo attached to parachute material.
