FWIW, I agree, there is a learning curve. I have been trying to make fresh sausage links for a meat-eater here and have had trouble getting browning and grill marks. This last time I pre-heated it, after rubbing some avocado oil on the grill surface, and I got nice marks and browning. I don't eat dairy products but I am going to try the flan soon. Bought sweetened condensed milk at Costco just for this, and have lots of eggs in the coop!

Sorry if it says to do this in the booklet - I can't read it due to bad eyesight. I still don't even know the wattage on the microwave. - Bird

Ok I’m really officially out of the loop, what’s a Range Mate? Please don’t judge me I’ve had the worst week!

@godi

I'm not familiar with it either, but here's their homepage:

And here's the QVC Page:

Hope your day (and week) gets better for you!

The Q sells them, just type in "Range Mate" If I am correct it is a plastic cooking vessel for the Microwave, you heat it up in the microwave and then pull it out and it cooks on the counter with out any more heat added to it. But check to see if they still carry them.I don't think recipes would be necessary in most cases.
