quick and easy German Chocolate Cake

I chocolate cake mix or german chocolate cake mix, any brand

1 tub ready-made coconut/pecan ready-t0-spread frosting (I think I used Duncan Hines)

Prepare the cake mix according to the package...before pouring batter into baking pan, add the can of frosting and mix on low speed until well mixed. Bake as directed. This cake is great as it has the frosting inside! Very moist and DH loves it with ice cream.

This is an old idea from one of the first edtions of the Cake Mix Doctor and my family still enjoys it.
