Love them on the half shell, fried; any which way!

Love them. We get the Chesapeake Bay oyster around here and while I love them raw on the half shell with hot sauce, ever since the MSX bacteria infected them years ago, I won’t eat them raw anymore. I do love them lightly fried, but dont know how to do it correctly. Got to consult one of my Deal Island friends.

Yes! I love ‘em. The only way I won’t eat them is raw.

Re: do you like

I LOVE oysters on the half shell with a squeeze of lemon and hot sauce. I also like clams on the half shell the same way and clams oreganata.

My food choices are mainly seafood, chicken, and turkey. I DON'T eat red meat, pork, bacon, sausage, ham etc. - SO unhealthy.

Nope, they’re right up there with Brussels sprouts.

No....just the smell of any fish/seafood makes me ill.

Love oystrers on the half shell with a squirt of lemon or fried. I never had them in a stew or stuffing or tried preparing them at home (fresh or canned).

Enjoy!
