If you have made this recipe - club crackers, parmesian cheese then wrapped wtih bacon - then baked....how many days ahead of the event can these be made?

I made them a few years ago and cannot remember how I stored them or how long before the event they were baked...thanks

@Mom2Dogs

I have made these a few times and only make them right before serving.  I think because so much of the grease from the bacon gets absorbed into the cracker, they may not last long.  I have never had any leftover so can't say how well they keep.  You could assemble them earlier in the day but bake them just before serving.   I don't feel they have to be hot  when served, but not sure they would re-warm well if made in advance either.  I usually place mine on a warming tray after I bake them.

If you got the recipe from a blog, you might contact the owner of the blog and ask them this question.

Re: bacon wrapped club crackers

@mustang66lady....thanks, I remember these taking a while to put together - so maybe I did the prep work the day before and then baked the day of....it would have been Christmas day so I know that I would not have made them that day....there were none left so storing after the fact was not an issue.

I was hoping I could bake and store then reheat.  I did look online at several recipes and nothing was mentioned about day ahead baking or storage.

Re: bacon wrapped club crackers

@Mom2Dogs  I just read Ree Drummond's (Pioneer Woman) recipe for these. She said you could bake them and freeze them and reheat in the oven for ten minutes.  I assume the same 250 degrees you use to bake them.

@Mom2Dogs  It was from the actual "The Pioneer Woman" website and not the Food Network website.  Holiday Bacon Appetizers

@Mom2Dogs

Thanks @grandma2pkmh for the info from The Pioneer Woman.

@Mom2Dogs-if you try baking, freezing, and reheating these, would you please post how they turned out and if you were happy with the result?   Would love to know.

@mustang66lady: I am interested in how the bacon is crispy on all sides?????  I am tried wrapping bacon on chicken and can never achieve the total "doneness" that I like for bacon.  Thank you.
