SOMEWHERE DH got the idea to slowly roast ribs on a bed of brown sugar in the oven for hours, then finish on the grill with barbque sauce. The meat was almost super saturated with sugar.
If I had known before hand, I would have said something, although, he was excited about this recipe.
Ony try this if you want a plate of sugar.
The sugar hit me and I got a horrible insulin surge and fell asleep (no, I am not diabetic).

Where did he get the idea to cook the ribs in this manner? I can't recall any recipe I've ever seen that suggested such a prepartion.

@deepwaterdotter It was on the site the wood pellet grill was on, I believe.
