Waffles with sel rising flour

Hi girls, I need help .  I know self rising flour has baking powder and salt in it.  Can I use the self rising flour in waffles and just not add salt and baking powder  and get the same results?

Absolutely. I make them that way all the time. I ONLY use self-rising flour.
