For some unknown reason, I decided to Web search waffle iron recipes. I ran across 'Waffle Iron French Toast' and 'Easy Bisquick Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffle French Toast'. Both at this Website: GENIUS KITCHEN .COM
I'll post the Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffle French Toast recipe:
Stir and blend together 1 1/4 cups milk, 1 cup Bisquick, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 TBS sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and 1 egg.
Dip six to eight slices of bread into the mixture, on both sides.
Place each slice in an already hot waffle iron and bake until it's steaming.
You can serve and top these french toast waffles with: 6 to 8 TBS mini chocolate chips, and/or your favorite jelly, and/or powdered sugar.
Enjoy!

p.s. The first recipe (Waffle Iron French Toast) recipe had great reviews. I didn't have time to copy that one. Maybe tomorrow.
