All of us 5 kids,and spouses and kids will be at my parents house Xmas eve.we are having snacks,nothing fancy at all.Xmas day,I'm home alone,so I figured I would order a pizza for a little something special.Im going to wear my fave Jammies and slippers and hope the day passes quickly

DH and I will host Christmas eve for kids and grandkids, every year the day is different depending on work schedules. This year just happens to be Christmas Eve....Christmas day will be be a quiet one, I have no desire to have two days of family and eating so no disappointment on my part for a quiet day.

Christmas Eve will be dinner at Black Rock Bar & Grill. Christmas Day will be Chinese food. Not sure yet if we're doing take out or dine in.

We're doing Christmas in stages.

Tomorrow some of our family will be together.  We eat easy foods, something on a bun, or not (this year it's crack chicken, veggies & dip, a charcuterie board, jalapeño poppers, deviled eggs.  Dessert offerings will be low carb cheesecake, low carb carrot cake cupcakes w/cream cheese frosting, low carb candied pecans, low carb cannoli dip w/KF vanilla wafers, homemade chocolate almond clusters.

The next get together is with the rest of our family on Christmas Eve Day.  We're having a simple brunch: bacon, scrambled eggs (toppings available), KF scones, mixed berries, Dunkin Donuts for a few.

DH and I will be alone on Christmas Day.  Right now, I'm thinking I'll make us buffalo wings, celery sticks, and bleu cheese dressing.

I'm thinking the same thing.

We've traveled on Christmas Day, many times across state lines and nearly nothing open.

You might try Chinese takeout/delivery. Our local Chinese buffet is busy on Christmas day.

I have not planned Christmas meal yet. Wish I did have Christmas dinner planned.

Today a guest arrived and he will be staying - I don't know how long. The time seems to be changing from his original plan. So I have lots of meals to figure out before Christmas comes.

And I have no idea if and when my son will be working. He always works holidays and lots and lots of hours, So no use planning this far ahead because schedules and plans change.
