Weather is not conducive to eating outside.  Why is the forecast always wrong?  I am going to make a quick run to the store for tortillas and other supplies.  Changing the menu to fish tacos and setting up a taco bar in the dining room.

Chilly and rainy here so no outdoor grilling and pool fun.

Son-in-law makes the most amazing ribs in his smoker and he's made 6 full racks of ribs that he's bringing over.  My daughter is making cheesy scalloped potatos that are to die for too.  We're adding fresh veggies with various dips and fresh fruits too.  For desert it's POPSICLES for all!

Thankfully it's not blowing rain, so the 12x20 waterproof canopy over my deck means we don't all have to squeeze into the dining room (we'd have to sit on laps!)

Went to a BBQ yesterday.  Today is whatever's in the fridge.  Weather is gorgeous.

Our party was on the 2nd.  It's the last bits of the leftovers LOL 

chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit.  Last night we ordered a pizza. We were tired of leftovers and the cooking on the 2nd.  So now there is leftover pizza.  I just poured the last glass of wine too.

We celebrated over the weekend.  The weather here yesterday and today is humid and pouring rain. 

We had burgers, hot dogs, chicken and all the fixings,  baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, chips, dips, healthy snacks, unhealthy snacks, chocolate cake and homemade ice cream.

Grilled shrimp, potato salad, corn on the Cobb and an ice cold beer.  For dessert, strawberry shortcake.

We're going to a friend's for supper and we'll stay to watch the concert and fireworks on TV. My friend is making fried fish, fried shrimp with french fries, cole slaw, corn on the cob.  I'm taking apple pie and vanilla icecream for dessert.  We leave in 20 minutes.  I'm famished!
