Two-Story Lemon Pie

1 pkg. Jello Lemon Pudding & Pie Fillling

1/2 c sugar

1/4 c water

1 egg

1 envelope Dream Whip

1- 9 inch baked pie crust, cooled

Combine pudding mix, sugar, water and egg. Stir in 2 cups of water. Cook and stir to a full boil over medium heat. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice. Set aside 1 cup filling. Cover the surface of filling with wax paper, chill. Pour rest of filling in cooled, baked 9- inch pie shell. Chill. Prepare 1 envelope Dream Whip Topping as directed. Beat the 1 cup filling until smooth, fold in 1 1/2 c Dream Whip. Spread over pie filling in pie shell. Garnish with remaining Dream Whip. Chill 3 hours.
