Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1 pkg chocolate cake mix

49 Kraft Caramels

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup evaporated milk

12 oz chocolate chips

1 cup pecan pieces

Mix cake as directed on box.

Put 1/2 of the cake batter in a 9x13 pan that has been sprayed with veg. spray (Pam)

Bake for 15 minutes. While cake is baking ,melt caramels, margarine, and evaporated milk in a saucepan.

Spread melted caramel mixture over the cake.

Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecan pieces all over top.

Spread the remaining cake batter over the chips and pecans.

Bake 20-30 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
