You may be buying Chunk Light.

Buy the solid pack albacore, you will also get more benefit nutritionally from the solid pack.

Think of it like this, chunk light is hamburger, solid  pack is sirloin.

[ Edited ]

on my post about tuna recently someone said they liked chicken of the sea.

i got some of that friday at the store and it is very good. not full of water at all.

i never buy tuna in oil. stopped buying albacore when i read that it has more mercury.

my post about tuna wont let me reply on it!

I buy Chicken of the Sea albacore, 12oz size and haven't had a problem other than it's never on sale as the 6oz size in other brands which I've found to be like sawdust in water.

I only buy Starkist tuna in a pack now; actually I buy the family size packs.
