We love any spice from this company.  Go to your spice area and look for fish spices.

I would also call the restaurant and ask to speak to the chef unless you spoke to your waiter which I would have done.

I make a lemon vinaigrette with lots of lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic. parsley and olive oil.  I blend the first four ingredients in a blender then slowly add the olive oil to emulsify.

Easy on the lemon...............until later in the cooking time

Love white fish too - take fish out of refrig half hour before cooking = to reduce  the refrig chill temperature down a little and season immediately with...........

A thin coating of olive oil or butter

On that sprinkle with garlic powder - little pepper - most of all sprinkle Paprika (to give it color) and parsley flakes.

A few squirts of lemon juice here is okay and add more when fish has browned up.

Either bake at 325  or 350 degrees (preheat oven first) or

pan fry in little oil and butter which adds a lot to the flavor. Splash the lemon here.

Diet fat?:  you're already eating a healthy high protein meat (fish) source so enhance that taste by using butter - butter makes it better...

Good Luck - fish is great!

I frequently use Morton Nature's Seasons Low Sodium on tilapia. Just a little. You don't need much.I think the regular sodium version is too salty.

I like fish.  When I fix Tilapia this is how I fix it......adjust seasonings depending on number of filets.  I fix two so adjust down..does not have to be exact.

2-4 tilapia filets

1-2 cups French's Fried Onions, crushed,..OR....
            Panko Bread Crumbs

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

Mix together crushed onions, or panko bread crumbs, parsley, lemon-pepper seasoning and paprika.  In separate dish put flour and another dish eggs.  Dip fish in flour, then eggs and finally the crumb mixture.  Place on baking pan.

Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes.

@Luvsmyfam

Be careful about asking for recipes from chefs.  You know the story about the Waldorf Astoria cake and that was in about 1960 which cost the lady unsuspectingly $25,000.00.

Ever since I saw an article about talapia farms in Asia I no longer buy that fish.  It was disgusting.
