Tri-Colored Pasta Salad

3/4 cup Italian dressing

3 cups (8 ounces) tri-colored spiral pasta

1/4 cup green pepper...diced

1 cup Provolone cheese...cubed

2 large tomatoes...seeded and diced

3/4 cup pepperoni slices...cut in half

1 Tablespoon onion...diced small

1/4 cup pitted black olives...sliced

Cook pasta according to package directions until AL DENTE (just firm). Rinse pasta in cold water. Drain. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add cooked pasta and toss to completely coat. Cover and refrigerate to let flavors blend.
***I use Good Seasons Italian Dressing with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.***

I love pasta salads, as they can be made up with most anything you have available in the way of veggies. They are quick, don't spoil in the heat like a mayo based salad, and you can use the fat free dressings and get great results and cut down the fat and calories, again not as easy to get good results when you do that with mayo based salads.

Like your take on making the dressing with balsamic vinegar for a change. Going to try this recipe soon as the heat is on now and hot meals don't sound so good.
