My sister introduced me to this candy bar. Did not sound good to me at first but it turned out that I liked it so much, I now buy several when I go to Trader Joes.

I've been buying these for few months. Love them!
No love for Two Buck Chuck?
(which is now $2.49, but still....) Charles Shaw wines, for the uninitiated.

Not all of their hummus. I had just bought some, so I called the number that was given to me last week, and found out that it's just a couple of varieties and only in a few states. The hummus that I had was made by a completely different manufacturer, and my state was not one of the ones affected. Actually, most of TJ's hummus is perfectly okay.
(BeeBee2, thanks for posting the link. I wanted to post it also, but couldn't find it.)
As for what I l like at TJ's, I'm a big fan of their sushi. And Unexpected Cheddar - a cross between cheddar and parmesan. I also love Chocolate Cheddar. And their frozen mozzarella sticks are very, very good. (Clearly, I like cheese!) Some things I've tried there have been disappointing - nothing wrong with them, just not as special as I'd been led to believe. Still, it's an interesting place to shop, and I always find something new.

I actually won one of those!
At TJ's, if your checkout totals an even dollar amount (e.g., $5.00), you spin a wheel and whatever prize it lands on, you win! I have had it happen once, and the wheel landed on the PB&J chocolate bar. It's not an item I would have bought as I've never liked PB&J sandwiches, but I will say it was very, very good. Must be the addition of the chocolate....

I go to TJ's all the time, and I've never seen that wheel or heard anything about it.
Other posters have mentioned other things too (like all the new items being together) that I've also never seen. So I guess there are some differences depending on area or whatever.

Back home, the local TJ's manager said he was in Naples for the grand opening and knew exactly what I was asking for but it was a local artisan thing and not available here. Hope you try them!
I am going to Sarasota. Maybe they will also have them. Tj's is talking about building a warehouse in Daytona but no word of a store here.

THe best at Trader Joe's- the petite croissants (come 8 to a box). You can take out one at a time if you wish. They defrost to quite a good size croissant. Delicious! Also love the frozen steelcut oatmeal and the low fat frozen french toast. WIth all of these, I can have a wonderful breakfast in half the time as far as preparation goes.
