I am off on my semi-annual trip to the west coast of Florida and will be visiting TJ's. Any new and exciting items I must try?

Thanks

No nothing here Boop, but my daughter loves, loves Trader Joe's. When I visited Denver, she made sure she drove me past the new Trader Joe's.

I'd actually called this store last year asking when they would open because she was so excited about it.

Enjoy. I like the old boring stores (Harris Teeter, etc).

I just tried their Soft and Juicy Mandarin slices located in the dried fruit/nut section. OH my!! So sweet and juicy---really!! Nice little sweet treat. Also love the South African Smoke seasoning blend. So good!!

I love their home made gazpacho, but it is a seasonal item, and so far have not seen it yet for this year, only available in summer.

There Corn and Chile Salsa is to die for. No tomatoes in it but great on tacos, on top of cream cheese, etc.

I just had a party last night that featured a LOT of TJ's items.

The Pastry Pups were a huge hit. We also got kudos for the Red Pepper Spread with eggplant & garlic, banana bread (made with their mix - I added in walnuts and drained crushed pineapple), the Korean Scallion Pancakes, the Almond Biscotti and the frozen Lemon Bars and Mochi Ice Cream - Mango flavor.

I took a road trip last w/e to TJ. I didn't notice anything new. I bought guacamole, water crackers, chocolate chip cookies, frozen veggies, cheese, individual packs of nuts, scallops, frozen onion soup. I mainly stocked up on staples.

I love to stock up on their variety of nuts and also I bake frequently using almond flour and coconut flour in place of grain based flours and I keep stashes of those on hand too. I can only do mostly sugar free and they have a nice selection of dark chocolate SF items to buy. Have always preferred TJ's over Whole Foods Smiley Happy
