I just wanted to thank you for posting that delicious recipe! I'm not at all a cook, but I made a pot of that soup this morning and ended up eating two bowls of it!!!!! It was so easy…….even for a non-cook like me!!!!!! And soooooo tasty! I picked up all the ingredients at Trader Joe's earlier in the week and was pleased with what I bought. I couldn't get scallions, but I picked up a packet of chives and substituted that. Can't wait to chow down on another bowl of Pot Sticker Soup. Thank you!

I want to say thanks too!
I also used the pork pot stickers from TJs.

Krimpette,
How very sweet of you to take time to comment on this simple recipe. I always worry that someone will spend time and money making one of my recipes and not like it. Of course, I didn't create the recipe, only copied it from allrecipes.com, which I credited in the original post. Great site to use if you have ingredients and don't know what to do with them. Just type in the ingredients you have in the search engine and up pops all kinds of recipes using those items. Be sure to read thru the original post on this thread; many posters have added great suggestions to make this soup even better. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Spring.....finally!
terrier3,
Again, it was very kind of you to take time to comment on the soup recipe. We have a Trader Joe's in the St. Louis area but it is quite a distance from us. I always think we will stop in sometime when we go to Penzey's but I never remember to say something to DH until we pass the exit! Potstickers there and from Costco I have on my list if I ever make it there! Hope you and your family are recovering from winter and ready to enjoy spring!

You're welcome! I used the chicken pot stickers, but plan to try the pork the next time. Since I only cook for me, I thought this would be way too much. However, at the rate I'm gulping it down, no worries there!!!!!

Krimpette,
I don't think it is so bad that you are enjoying this soup. There are a lot worse things you could be "gulping down."
Please let me know if you prefer the chicken or pork potstickers. I am so very picky about chicken so would appreciate any help on this. The older I get, the pickier I become!
Are you in the path of the snow predicted for the northeast U.S.? If so, I hope you are ready to hunker down for a few days; spring really will be coming. Have a good weekend, no matter what.

Hi Mustang…! I'm in the metro DC area and we had an inch or two of very wet snow yesterday. It was the perfect soup day!!!!!!!!!! Today it's supposed to be 60-65!!!! Monday, only in the 40s!!!!! Such weird weather!!!!
Happy weekend! (And I'll try to remember when I try the pork pot stickers, it did find the Trader Joe's chicken version to be scrumptious!)
